Deals & M&A · SectorWire deskSource published 3 min read

HIPTHER announced the launch of the HIPTHER AI Summit 2027, a conference on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to be held on 25 March 2027 at the OREA Hotel Andels Praha in Prague, Czech Republic, according to an announcement. The event will take place directly after the HIPTHER Prague Summit, scheduled for 23 and 24 March, extending the international programme to three days.

The summit is intended to bring together developers, researchers, startup founders, investors, technology officers, cybersecurity professionals and institutional representatives from central and eastern Europe, the Baltic countries, the Balkans, the DACH region and other international markets. The programme is to cover generative artificial intelligence, Large Language Models, AI agents, business process automation, developer tools, technology infrastructure, and AI applications in fraud prevention and anti-money laundering procedures. Cybersecurity sessions are to address ransomware, incident management, threat intelligence, Zero Trust architectures and the regulatory implications of the European AI Act.

The day is to be organised in three parallel environments. The main stage will host conferences, debates, technical presentations, regulatory sessions and case studies on AI adoption, governance and security strategies. A second stage will be reserved for the HIPTHER AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge 2027, and a third will host the HIPTHER Academy, with four specialist courses on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, limited places and registration details to be communicated separately.

The Startup Challenge offers the winning project a €40,000 investment. It is open to European and international startups developing solutions based on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Applications can be submitted from 16 November 2026 to 31 January 2027. Eligibility checks and jury evaluations are to take place in February, leading to the selection of the 20 best startups. Online semi-finals are to be held in March, from which eight finalists will be chosen to present their projects in person at the summit on 25 March in Prague.

Selected companies will have to set out their technology, business model, market opportunities and growth prospects, and answer questions from a jury of experts. The overall winner will receive the €40,000 investment under a structure and conditions to be defined in the official competition rules, which are expected to be published when applications open. The competition also offers startups international visibility, contact with industry professionals, access to potential investors and the possibility of developing commercial and technology partnerships.

Zoltan Tündik, co-founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, said the debate on artificial intelligence had moved from theoretical potential to concrete implementation, governance and security. He said the summit was created to offer a focused space where developers, security experts and innovators could meet investors and industry leaders directly. Tündik said the €40,000 Startup Challenge brings innovators onto the stage with capital and a visibility platform.

The introduction of the AI Summit extends HIPTHER Prague Week, which in 2027 will run over three consecutive days. On 23 and 24 March the HIPTHER Prague Summit will continue to bring together professionals and companies from gaming, fintech, payments, compliance, technology and regulation, while 25 March will be reserved entirely for artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The organisers said concentrating the initiatives in the same city and venue is intended to encourage exchange between different industry ecosystems.

The organisers also announced that applications for speakers at the AI Summit 2027 are open. The invitation is addressed to researchers, entrepreneurs, engineers, cybersecurity experts, company executives, institutional representatives and professionals able to contribute practical experience, technical analysis and case studies. Sponsorship and partnership opportunities are available for companies active in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud, digital infrastructure, enterprise software and technology investment. Further information on the event, applications and participation is available on the official HIPTHER AI Summit 2027 website.
