The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) requires an operating licence to run electronic technical-amusement games using gaming machines in Greece. Its Decision No. 130/2/18.11.2014 governs licensing procedures, supporting documents, administrative sanctions and related requirements; non-profit legal entities are not eligible for a licence.

Operators must meet the HGC's licensing requirements to run gaming-machine amusement games in Greece.
