Henrico County challenges Virginia Racing Commission approval of Roseshire licence
Henrico County filed a lawsuit on 12 November challenging the Virginia Racing Commission’s approval of Roseshire’s gaming-parlour licence, reportedly arguing the commission exceeded its authority. The county and two residents are asking a court to void the licence; Roseshire opened on 29 September with 175 historical horse racing machines.
The court challenge could affect the status of Roseshire’s licence and its operation in Henrico County.
