Haiti creates gaming authority and introduces licensing and tax rules

Regulation

Haiti’s official journal published three legal instruments creating the National Gaming Authority (ANJHA) and setting rules for gambling operations and taxation. The framework provides for online gambling licences and a monthly payment of 5% of gross gaming revenue; online operators also face an annual licence fee of five million Gourdes.

Operators will face new licensing, player-protection and tax requirements under Haiti’s gambling framework.
