H2 Gambling Capital estimates Brazil betting market at R$38bn a year
H2 Gambling Capital presented research on Brazil’s betting market at a panel during an event alongside ICE Barcelona, according to the report. The study estimates licensed betting and online gaming generate R$38bn annually, while unregulated platforms account for about 30% of sector financial transactions and around R$15bn in annual GGR.
The estimates quantify the unregulated market and the concentration of licensed operators in Brazil.
