Greece to host GREF gambling regulators forum in Athens in May 2025

Summary
Greece will host the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) for the first time, with the event scheduled for 26-28 May 2025 at the Grande Bretagne hotel in Athens, organised by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (ΕΕΕΠ). More than 20 regulatory authorities had confirmed participation, the ΕΕΕΠ said. The commission has been a GREF member since 2012.
Why it matters
The Athens forum gives regulators a venue to coordinate on illegal gambling and player protection across Europe.
