Goa residents prepare court challenge to permits for Delta Corp casino vessel

Residents and activists in Goa are preparing a petition to challenge permits for Delta Corp’s 112-metre casino vessel planned for the Mandovi River, according to the report. Former judge Ferdino Rebello said the group intends to seek interim relief after filing in the Bombay High Court; Delta Corp says the vessel would match the capacity of five existing offshore casinos.
