ERShares said its XOVR ETF invested $30 million in Kalshi during its latest portfolio rebalance. Kalshi represents 1.42% of the fund, according to the asset manager.
Kalshi confirmed a $2 million, two-year investment in the National Council on Problem Gambling to support its initiatives. The contribution will fund the council’s Financial Trader Health and Safety Initiative, including consumer education and awareness of warning signs of harmful behaviour. Kalshi will join the council as a Platinum-level member and enter its Leadership Circle.

Arkansas has sued Kalshi in Independence County Circuit Court, alleging that its event contracts amount to gambling offered to residents without a state licence. The complaint seeks consumer restitution, civil penalties, taxes and an injunction; the amounts have not been determined, and the allegations have not been assessed by a judge. Kalshi has not publicly responded to this complaint.
