Flutter’s Southern Europe and Africa chief executive Francesco Durante is due to leave in January, according to the report. CFO Roberto Di Fonzo will lead the division, which covers Italy, Morocco and Turkey.
The leadership change affects oversight of Flutter’s business across Italy, Morocco and Turkey.

Flutter Entertainment said up to 1,400 jobs are at risk in its UK and Ireland division, following staff briefings on 20 October 2026. The division has about 9,000 employees; the company attributed the restructuring to higher betting and gaming duties and expects related costs of $80m-$90m in Q4 2026.
Neil Banbury became managing director of Sky Betting and Gaming on 29 September. Banbury told the outlet he intends to draw on parent company Flutter Entertainment's international reach.
The World Gaming and Betting Alliance has selected former European Gaming and Betting Association secretary general Maarten Haijer to lead the new global gambling body as director general. The organisation is due to hold its formal launch in Geneva in November, alongside publication of its first report; Bet365, Entain, Flutter Entertainment and FDJ United are listed as members.
Flutter appointed Edward Traynor interim group chief legal officer from 1 October, reportedly, following Don Liu’s retirement. Traynor will retain his role as group company secretary, which he has held since April 2015; Liu formally left Flutter on 30 September after submitting his resignation on 28 September.
Enteractive appointed Stephen Parry as group chief executive officer, effective 1 October 2026. Co-founder Mikael Hansson moved to executive chairman, while the company said it plans to pursue international expansion, closer operator partnerships and further technology development.
