Finland’s Police Board reports 50 gambling licence applications

Licences & markets

Finland’s National Police Board said it had received 50 B2C licence applications since accepting them on 1 March. The Board said processing currently takes around six months because of the high application volume; it will handle B2C licensing until the re-regulated market opens on 1 July 2027.

Applicants and suppliers can factor the stated six-month processing time into preparations for Finland’s 2027 market opening.
