FGCC seizes 22 illegal machines and $25,659 in Port Orange raids
The Florida Gaming Control Commission and Port Orange Police Department seized 22 gambling machines and $25,659 from three Port Orange businesses last week, the FGCC said. Three people received Notices to Appear over alleged gambling-house and slot-machine offences. Florida lawmakers are also considering HB 189, which would create felony penalties for several forms of illegal gambling.
Operators can gauge enforcement exposure as authorities seize machines and lawmakers consider felony penalties for illegal gambling.
