FanDuel offers 3% injury protection on player props and parlays
FanDuel introduced Bet Protect+, an optional feature for player props and parlays, with a 3% charge on the bet. The company said straight bets are refunded in cash if a player exits because of injury; on parlays, the injured selection is removed and the payout recalculated. The feature is live for the NBA Playoffs, with expansion to other sports planned in the coming weeks.
Operators competing for sports bettors may need to consider how paid injury cover compares with DraftKings’ Early Exit programme.
