FanDuel expands AceAI access to half of users, Flutter says

Deals & M&A

Flutter said FanDuel’s AceAI betting assistant is now available to 50% of users and has handled 158,000 queries. The report says DraftKings’ patent application for a similar tool was rejected last month, while the company can appeal; it also describes a test in which ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepAI and QuillBot were asked for betting recommendations.

The figures show the reported reach of FanDuel’s AI tool as rivals pursue similar betting-assistant technology.

The slump was not confined to DraftKings: Flutter Entertainment, which owns FanDuel, was caught up in the same selling. Over the past year, the value of DraftKings shares has been cut by about half, the report noted.
