FanDuel and DraftKings withdraw from AGA over prediction markets
FanDuel and DraftKings have withdrawn from the American Gaming Association (AGA), with the association confirming it accepted both requests effective immediately. The companies cited changes in strategic direction and business priorities as they pursue prediction markets, while the AGA said it expects to continue working with them.
Their exits remove two major sportsbook operators from the trade group as it advocates for gambling-style regulation of prediction markets.
