Eswatini police arrest more than 80 in illegal online gambling investigation

The Royal Eswatini Police Service arrested more than 80 foreign nationals at a hotel in Mbabane on suspicion of operating gambling activities without permits. Police said preliminary inquiries indicated the operation targeted victims outside Eswatini and that alleged winners did not receive their money; suspects are due to appear before the Mbabane Magistrate’s Court as investigations continue.
