Eswatini police arrest about 200 suspects in illegal gambling investigation
Eswatini police said they had arrested about 200 suspects since 10 March 2026 during an investigation into alleged online gambling operations and fraud. Authorities allege that XWin facilitated unlicensed gambling, while its managing director says the company provides technical support for a Hong Kong client; XWin has challenged the closure of its business in court.
The investigation and court challenge leave XWin’s licensing and operating status in dispute.
