Estonia expects to reverse 0% gambling tax caused by legislative error

Regulation

Estonia’s 2026 law sets a 0% tax for games of chance and remote gaming after legislation referred to skill games instead, according to reporting on the error. A local legal expert said the change was expected to be reversed before February, while the Finance Committee chair reportedly said it would be corrected within the month.

Operators face uncertainty over whether the enacted 0% rate will remain in force or be corrected.
