El Dorado has expanded into online casino and sports betting in Spain, with EGT Digital's X-Nave platform providing the technology infrastructure for the new offer, according to a report published on 30 October 2026. The operator behind the brand is Unión de Empresas Rubio, the Aragonese family group that runs El Dorado.
El Dorado operates 50 gaming halls, the report said. The group's establishments are located in Aragón, Navarra, Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana and Castilla y León. Raúl Rubio is director general of the group.
The business began in 1976 with football tables, jukeboxes and recreational machines in bars, according to the report, and the group says two generations of the Rubio family have developed it over five decades. El Dorado is presenting the digital stage with a campaign whose message reads: "50 salones después, ahora también estamos en tu pantalla".
