EGP-FIPE says online gambling overtook retail in Lombardy in 2025
EGP-FIPE president Emmanuele Cangianelli told a Regione Lombardia conference that online gambling surpassed the region’s physical retail network in 2025. Online stakes totalled €13.8bn, against €12.2bn through retail outlets, representing 53% of the combined market, according to EGP-FIPE data. The association called for updated prevention measures as gambling shifts to digital channels.
