EAG360 names Little Lifts as official charity partner for January London show

Deals & M&A · SectorWire deskSource published 2 min read

EAG360, the event combining Amuse Expo, CompSocUK and London Gaming Show, has named Little Lifts, a charity that supports people receiving treatment for breast cancer, as its official partner. The show is scheduled for 12 to 14 January at ExCeL London. Industry professionals attending the event will be invited to contribute to the organisation's work.

Little Lifts was founded by Oa Hackett, who received a breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 28. The charity provides practical and emotional support to people in treatment, distributing gift boxes that are selected and packed by hand. The boxes are intended for chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, and contain items including sleep masks, heat packs and specific lotions, which the charity says are meant to ease treatment side effects, manage discomfort and aid relaxation.

Nick Harding, president of EAG360, said Little Lifts began around founder Oa Hackett's kitchen table and has grown considerably. He said the charity marked a milestone earlier this month with the delivery of its 50,000th box, each of which was packed by hand and given to a person in treatment for breast cancer. Harding said the event's community of visitors and exhibitors, drawn from all parts of entertainment, is known for its compassion and generosity, and that the January EAG360 is an opportunity to support Little Lifts in widening its reach and increasing its impact.
