Dutch MPs question evaluation of Remote Gambling Act without baseline data

Regulation

D66 MP Sneller and JA21 MP Van den Berg have submitted parliamentary questions to State Secretary Claudia van Bruggen about the evaluation of legislation, including the Remote Gambling Act. They asked why the evaluation lacked a consistent baseline and was submitted in November 2024, although the law required it within three years of its 1 April 2021 introduction.

The questions address whether the Remote Gambling Act’s evaluation can assess its effects without baseline data and within the required timeframe.
