AGCOM has opened an investigation into Lega Pro's request to extend its guidelines on centralised sale of audiovisual sports rights to the 2028/29, 2029/30 and 2030/31 seasons. The guidelines, approved in September 2024, currently cover 2025/26 to 2027/28, so approval would give six seasons of coverage. Interested communications operators have until 26 October 2026 to submit written input, and the proceeding is due to conclude by 23 November 2026.
