DraftKings settled a dispute with the Major League Baseball Players Association over its alleged use of players’ names and images in promotional material. The parties agreed to settle in September 2025, and a US district judge has now filed an order dismissing the case.

Caesars has stopped accepting credit card deposits across its US online gambling platforms, the company said. The change covers its Caesars Digital sites and apps in the United States, but excludes Puerto Rico and Ontario. The move follows similar withdrawals by other operators and comes as states consider or impose restrictions.
US iGaming revenue grew 12% year on year in Q3 2026, according to a Citizens Equity Research report cited in the report, down from 16% in Q2 and 19% in Q1. The report said sports betting handle rose 7% in Q3 despite one fewer week of NFL play, while same-store September handle increased 1% year on year.
Alberta’s regulated online gambling market has reached 50 licensed websites run by 29 companies, reportedly, as the province began enforcing restrictions on unlicensed operators after the 13 October transition deadline. Reported figures for North American markets included Nevada baccarat revenue of $162.0 million in August, up 39 per cent, and Indiana sports wagers of $4.09 billion in the first nine months of 2026, up 4 per cent. Missouri casinos reported September gaming revenue of $165.1 million, while figures also covered several other states and Washington DC.
Alberta's iGaming Corp added Betway Canada to the province's operating-platform list on 28 September, bringing its sportsbook and online casino to the regulated market. The announcement also listed Apollo Entertainment's Golden Tiger Casino; more than 30 platforms were active in the market, according to the report.
