DraftKings said it launched its online sportsbook in Puerto Rico on Monday, 23 February 2026. The service is available only to Puerto Rico residents who first complete in-person registration at Foxwoods El San Juan Casino; non-residents can bet only at the casino’s physical sportsbook.
The launch gives eligible Puerto Rico residents online access while requiring in-person registration at the casino.

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana has launched the prediction-market app SaltTrade Derivatives. SaltTrade will handle branding, marketing and customer experience, while Kalshi will supply exchange infrastructure, including matching, clearing, custody and surveillance.
Games Global said it obtained a licence to operate in Alberta, extending its regulated Canadian presence beyond Ontario. The approval allows its partners to access its games in the province. The company also has a Canadian distribution and development partnership with OnAir Entertainment.
DraftKings has gone live in California while Kalshi has recruited lobbyists. The report says Kalshi is working to maintain access to its platform in the state.
DraftKings has introduced DraftKings Predictions in California, citing NBC 7 San Diego. The platform joins Kalshi and Polymarket in the state, where traditional sports betting remains illegal.
Reportedly, DraftKings went live in Alberta on 13 July 2026 with more than 2,000 casino games and Alberta-specific betting markets. The launch came as 22 iGaming sites entered the province's newly regulated market, the second in Canada after Ontario. The operator runs casino and sportsbook through one account and carries lines on Alberta teams including the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.
