Dominican authorities restart gaming-operator regularisation under Decree 197-26
The Dominican government announced a new phase to regularise lottery banks and other gambling operators under Decree 197-26. The process will resume work left incomplete after deadlines set in 2022, while the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos checks operators’ tax obligations and may temporarily place businesses in the tax system during regularisation.
Operators face renewed checks on tax compliance and pending regularisation status.
