Spain’s Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030 and Ceuta agreed to extend their automated exchange of gambling-exclusion register data until 8 November 2030. The four-year extension runs until 8 November 2030. The agreement enables automated information exchange so registrations in one jurisdiction are recognised in the other.
According to a notice in the BOE of 31 October 2026, an addendum has been published extending the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda and the Autonomous City of Ceuta. He said platforms offering products classed as gambling under Spanish law need a licence, and unauthorised services of that kind cannot operate legally in Spain; measures are taken to block access to affected platforms.
