DGOJ outlines identity-fraud reporting process after 8,600 complaints

Regulation

Spain's DGOJ has explained how people can report the alleged misuse of their identity in online gambling accounts. Cecilia Pastor Pons, deputy director-general of inspection, said 8,600 complaints were recorded in 2025; the process includes reporting the suspected crime to police and submitting supporting documents to the tax agency.
