ADM director calls for player safeguards and less aggressive gambling marketing

Regulation

At SiGMA Central Europe in Rome, ADM remote-gambling director Antonio Giuliani said regulated gambling’s credibility depends on clear rules, player protection and responsible commercial conduct. He said the provisions in Italy’s 25 March 2024 remote-gambling reform need to be implemented by concessionaires, including measures that strengthen system security and player controls.

Concessionaires are expected to implement the reform’s player-control measures and avoid overly aggressive customer acquisition practices.
