CONFAD reports fewer betting-fraud investigations in Spain in 2025

Regulation

Spain's CONFAD published figures showing that the DGOJ-managed SIGMA unit carried out fewer than 60 betting-fraud interventions in 2025, the lowest level in the period reviewed. Football accounted for 40% of interventions, while other sports represented almost 30%; regulated operators generated 20% to 40% of alerts that led to investigations.

The figures show how betting-integrity alerts and investigations are distributed across sports and reporting bodies.
