Colorado lawmakers remove prop-bet ban from sports betting bill
Colorado lawmakers removed the proposed prop-bet ban from Senate Bill 131, which advanced through the Senate Appropriations Committee, according to the report. The revised bill retains a ban on credit-card deposits and includes limits on customer deposits, advertising restrictions and annual operator reporting requirements. The source said the change reduced the projected first-year sports betting revenue loss from nearly $2.4m to about $800,000.
The revised bill changes the proposed restrictions and revenue impact that licensed Colorado sportsbooks would face.
