Colorado enforces new online sports betting restrictions under SB 26-131

Regulation

Colorado brought new online sports betting rules into force under SB 26-131, signed by Governor Jared Polis on 2 June, according to the report. The law bars credit-card deposits, limits accounts to six separate deposits in any rolling 24-hour period and prohibits betting prompts by push notification or text. Operators must report annual data to the Colorado Division of Gaming; the first report is due in 2028.

Operators must change payment, messaging, advertising and reporting practices in Colorado.
