Colombia’s DANE reports 9.5% growth in entertainment activities in Q2 2026

Colombia’s National Administrative Department of Statistics reported that arts, entertainment and recreation activities, including online betting, grew 9.5% year on year from April to June 2026. DANE official Juan Pablo Cardoso said sports betting activity increased in May and June alongside World Cup matches and other sporting events.

The figures indicate stronger activity in a sector that includes online betting, although they do not isolate gambling revenue.
