Coljuegos reports COP378.268bn in 2025 transfers from Colombian bingo and casinos

Regulation

Coljuegos president Marco Emilio Hincapié said bingo halls and casinos transferred an estimated COP378.268bn to subsidised healthcare in Colombia during 2025, a 9.3% rise on 2024. He attributed the increase mainly to efforts to combat illegal gambling and regulate the market; the segment represented 39% of industry collections.

The reported transfers show bingo halls and casinos’ contribution to subsidised healthcare and the role attributed to market regulation.
