Coljuegos said 245,199 people requested self-exclusion from online gambling portals in Colombia during 2024 and 2025. The authority reported that men accounted for 81% of requests and women 19% in each year, and said all 14 online gambling operators provide a self-exclusion option.
Operators must provide a route for users to block betting profiles linked to their identification numbers.

Coljuegos said a raffle held by presidential candidate Santiago Botero in Bogotá on 16 April was unauthorised. The draw offered COP 25 million split among five winners; the regulator said raffles require prior approval and that cash prizes are generally prohibited, subject to exceptions.

Plans include training bank compliance officers on gambling rules and closer cooperation to prevent illegal online gambling and the use of payment systems to support it.

He said this represented 41.84% of sector resources generated since 2012; 2025 transfers totalled $1.1tn, while online operators contributed about $1.3tn in VAT.
Coljuegos President Marco Emilio Hincapié said BetPlay and Súper Astro contributed COP347.587bn to the state in 2025, an 11% rise on 2024. He said the funds went towards health-system financing; the two products generated about COP106.259bn from January to mid-March 2026.
Coljuegos reported that territorial chance games, lotteries and Raspa&Listo transferred COP649.465bn to regional health services in 2025. Chance accounted for COP337.068bn and traditional lotteries COP276.794bn; the three lotteries of Medellín, Boyacá and Bogotá contributed COP136.287bn combined. The games also paid COP1.68tn in prizes during the year, the authority said.
