CFTC sues Illinois over prediction-market regulation

Regulation

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission sued Illinois in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois over the state’s plans to regulate prediction markets. The case could determine whether Illinois may require prediction-market exchanges to comply with state rules or licensing.
