Catawba Nation identifies two sites for planned North Carolina casinos

Deals & M&A

The Catawba Indian Nation said it had identified two locations for possible additional casinos in North Carolina, with preliminary negotiations under way. Tribal leaders made the announcement at the 1 July opening of the first phase of the Two Kings Casino Resort in Kings Mountain. The resort project is valued at $1.25 billion and is being developed with Delaware North.

The plans could expand the Catawba Nation’s casino presence beyond its Two Kings project.
