Catania police chief suspends betting centre for seven days

Enforcement & compliance

The Catania police chief ordered a betting centre in Librino to close for seven days under Article 100 of Italy’s public security law. Police said checks found it had become a regular meeting place for people with criminal records; officers notified the operator of the suspension.
