Catalonia assigns gambling oversight to its Directorate General for Taxes and Gambling
Catalonia's government reorganised the Department of Economy and Finance under Decree 249/2025, keeping gambling within the department's remit, according to reports. The Directorate General for Taxes and Gambling will propose rules, grant authorisations, supervise registrations and inspections, and handle sanction cases and related appeals.
