The Cantabrian government opened a public consultation on draft rules for debit-card payments at casinos, bingo halls, gaming arcades and betting shops, the report said. The proposal would permit named debit cards through TPV-TITO terminals for tickets used on type B and C machines, with a daily loading and spending limit of €300. The consultation allows ten working days for submissions before the rules take effect.

Venue operators would need to meet new terminal, payment-card and daily-limit conditions if the proposal takes effect.
