Caixa says all confirmed Mega da Virada bets entered 2025 draw
Caixa Econômica Federal said all Mega da Virada 2025 bets with payment confirmed within the regulatory deadline were processed for the draw in Brazil. After bettors reported payment and processing problems, the bank said cancelled bets had not met the payment deadline and that debited amounts were automatically refunded if no bet was placed. The draw, delayed by technical problems, distributed R$ 1.09 billion.
The clarification addresses whether paid lottery entries were valid and whether unprocessed debits were refunded.
