Caesars closes Planet Hollywood poker room in Las Vegas on 31 January

Deals & M&A

Caesars Entertainment said it will permanently close Planet Hollywood’s poker room on 31 January, less than a year after reopening it. The 23-table room returned in May 2025; the company said employees will be reassigned to other casino roles. The closure will leave 18 active poker rooms in the Las Vegas Valley, including nine on the Strip, according to the report.

The closure reduces Caesars’ poker-room presence and leaves the company with two rooms, at Caesars Palace and Horseshoe.
