Brazilian broadcasters lobby against possible betting ban
Brazil’s major television networks are mobilising representatives in Brasília to oppose a possible ban on sports-betting operators, the report said. Globo has a stake in BetMGM, SBT participates in Bet do Milhão and Band operates BandBet. The broadcasters argue that a ban could reduce their revenue and strengthen illegal platforms.
