Brazil’s SPA-MF sets code 5862 for betting revenue payments to Funapol
Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting at the Ministry of Finance established revenue code 5862 for fixed-odds betting operators paying amounts allocated to the Federal Police fund, under Portaria SPA/MF No. 1,287 published on 8 May 2026. The measure amends an earlier rule and requires operators to use the code when paying through DARF; the portaria also revokes Portaria SPA/MF No. 784.
Fixed-odds betting operators must use code 5862 when paying specified revenues to Funapol through DARF.
