Brazil’s SPA convenes consumer protection seminar and signs cooperation agreement
Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) held its first bettor consumer protection and responsible gambling seminar in Brasília on 16 June, bringing together regulators, betting operators and specialists. The SPA and the National Secretariat for Digital Rights signed a technical cooperation agreement covering information exchange, research and regulatory work, according to the official statement.
The agreement creates a cooperation channel relevant to regulatory work and bettor protection in Brazil’s betting market.
