Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) opened Public Consultation SPA/MF No. 3/2026 on 27 July, seeking comments until 9 September on rules that would replace Ordinance SPA/MF No. 827/2024. The proposed rules could affect operators’ ownership structures, governance arrangements and eligibility for investment or acquisitions.
