Brazil’s SIGAP records 339,376 betting self-exclusions in three months
Brazil’s SIGAP recorded 339,376 self-exclusions through Gov.Br during its first three months of operation, according to figures presented by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting. Indefinite exclusions accounted for 71% of requests, and operators have up to three days to close active bets and block promotions after identifying an excluded user’s CPF. The SPA-MF also said it had established cooperation with the Health Ministry on remote support for at-risk bettors.
Operators must check the exclusion register and act within three days when they identify a self-excluded bettor.
