Regulation

Brazilian betting operators face restrictions on football shirt branding from 5 October under Provisional Measure 1,394/2026, with 85 licences due to expire on 25 October, the report says. Convocados estimates Série A clubs received about R$1.03bn in betting sponsorship in 2025; some contracts have ended or been suspended as operators respond to the measure.
