Bishkek prosecutors accuse developer of unauthorised casino operation on municipal land
Bishkek prosecutors accused an unnamed entrepreneur of operating casino, restaurant and hotel facilities without permits on municipal land allocated for a sports and fitness complex. The Prosecutor General’s Office estimated municipal losses at 42 million som; prosecutors also said a municipal employee had been charged with abuse of office and bribery in connection with payments linked to the site.
