BetBoom executive calls for consumer education and action against illegal betting in Brazil

BetBoom institutional affairs and consumer relations director Laura Morganti said efforts against illegal betting in Brazil require coordination among industry participants, including payment providers. Speaking at BiS SiGMA South America on 7 April, she also called for consumer education on identifying legal operators and said Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting had developed in its regulatory role.
