ANJL backs action against Brazil’s illegal betting market
The National Association of Games and Lotteries (ANJL) said it shared President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s concern about illegal betting in Brazil. The association cited a cooperation agreement signed last year with Anatel’s Superintendence of Inspection and the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets to establish physical and virtual laboratories for monitoring and technical analysis. ANJL said the work aims to identify clandestine operations.
The association says its joint monitoring work is intended to help identify illegal betting operations in Brazil.
